Mariel Pain first discovered barre3 in 2010 by doing barre3 Online right at her kitchen counter while at home with her toddlers and a newborn. As a former competitive gymnast, marathon runner, triathlete, yoga instructor, and outdoor enthusiast, she immediately connected with the way barre3 workouts are truly challenging and uplifting, yet honor the way every person's body changes over time. She also loved the way barre3 encourages people to find a mind-body connection and to make each workout their own. As a former social worker, Mariel realized that opening a barre3 studio in her community would be a way to inspire people to increase strength, find greater wellness, and create connections with others. Mariel and her husband, Lucas, are raising four young boys and a puppy, right here in Clarendon Hills.

Location Info

Located in downtown Clarendon Hills, across the street from the Metra station. There is plenty of of parking in front of the studio on Burlington Avenue. There are bike racks available for your use.

Barre3 Clarendon Hills is a beautifully appointed space, with a changing room that includes lockers, shower, and toiletries. For your class needs, the studio has towel service and purified water.

What to Expect

No experience required. Our classes are designed to make everyone feel welcome and get a great workout. Wear yoga-like attire (socks are optional) and bring a water bottle. We supply all props needed. We encourage new clients to arrive 15 minutes early to get a tour and meet your instructor.
