Studio owner Erica Walker

Studio Owner

Erica Walker

Erica took her first barre3 class in 2018, and fell in love with the workout immediately. The focus on intentional movements, mind/body connection + breath, along with the warm vibe all led to an incredible experience.

In 2022, she became a Studio Co-Owner, motivated by a desire to create a space where all feel welcomed and supported in building strength--both physically and mentally. She is now barre3 Fort Mill's Lead Mentor, working with our Instructor Team to nurture an encouraging environment grounded in education, consistency, care and connection. Erica has taught nearly 1500 barre3 classes in 3 class types.

Studio Owner

Melanie Zook, RD

As a biology/anatomy & physiology teacher-turned-registered dietitian/nutritionist, Melanie’s always had an interest in the science + wellness of the mind & body. She discovered barre3 online when her middle child was a baby and was immediately drawn to the values on which the company was built as much as the workout itself.

When it was announced that barre3 Fort Mill was to be built in 2017, Melanie knew she had to be a part of it—that it was an ideal way to grow in her love of learning & teaching—and became one of its Founding Instructors and soon after, a Studio Mentor. Melanie then became a Studio Co-Owner in early 2022, and has led nearly 1500 barre3 classes across all 4 class types.

Erica & Melanie look forward to continuing to work together to ensure barre3 Fort Mill remains a warm, inclusive space where clients can find wellness & connection.

barre3 Fort Mill | Barre Classes at Kingsley

barre3 Fort Mill | Barre Classes at Kingsley

Under Kingsley's decorative 100-foot smokestack, barre3 Fort Mill offers barre classes on Broadcloth Street. The salvaged stack carries a painted cotton boll, a nod to the textile mills that built Fort Mill and gave the streets their names. The studio sits steps from the lake the town center rings, a few doors from Napa at Kingsley. The LPL Financial and Lash Group campuses anchor the far end, making the studio a convenient stop before or after work. The Anne Springs Close Greenway opens a short drive northeast, 2,100 acres of lake, forest, and pasture with 40 miles of trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Stop by before a morning on the Greenway, or make barre3 the anchor of your week.

Our barre3 Fort Mill studio offers everything you need for a balanced practice. Barre3 Signature blends strength, cardio, and mindfulness into one complete full-body workout, using the barre, core ball, and weights to build strength, increase flexibility, and sharpen balance. B3 Strength is the deeper muscle work—heavier weights and slow, deliberate movement that builds the kind of strength you feel in your everyday life. B3 Cardio brings the heat—a high-energy, full-body push that leaves you feeling accomplished and clear-headed, not wiped out. B3 Mindful Flow uses breath-driven movement to restore your body and build the mobility and ease your body needs to keep up with your life. You'll leave feeling stronger and more capable than when you walked in. Every fitness level is welcome.
