Hi! I'm Abby, the proud owner of barre3 Redondo Beach. I discovered barre3 in 2017 while living in Atlanta, and from my first class, I knew it was something special. I was drawn to the warmth of the community and the inclusive messaging. It was the first time I experienced fitness that felt truly supportive and rooted in self-compassion. I was drawn to the way barre3 encouraged me to move with intention, listen to my body, and honor exactly where I was—physically and mentally. After becoming certified as an instructor, I navigated two pregnancies and some of the most challenging seasons of my life, including severe postpartum anxiety and depression during the height of the pandemic. Through it all, barre3 remained a constant. It helped me feel at home in my body again and rebuild confidence after losing my sense of self. It introduced me to incredible people and helped me form deep friendships when I needed connection the most. Most importantly, it helped me redefine fitness– not as a way to change my body, but as a way to build functional strength and resilience. That shift changed everything, and I knew I wanted to pay it forward by creating a space where others could feel that same sense of empowerment. With a background in nonprofit work and a deep love for serving others, I’ve always been passionate about creating welcoming spaces. I believe every client who walks through our doors deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated. As a mom, it means everything to me to set an example for my kids–that movement is self-care, and that showing up for yourself is a powerful thing. Whether you are new to fitness, returning after a break, or just looking for a safe space to take an hour for yourself, you are welcome here. I can’t wait to meet you and support you in your journey!
