Studio Owner

Kim Burla

After spending years in the fashion industry, Kim wanted to fulfill her dream of owning her own business. She looked for a way to mix her passion for fashion with fitness and always came back to her barre classes she took in the suburbs. She searched for the perfect boutique fitness franchise that would fit in her area. Kim wanted to create an environment where you feel confident walking in the door no matter what fitness level you are at. In 2018, the decision was made as she already found the perfect location. Kim is a local resident of New Lenox and wanted to be a bigger part of the community where she lived. Kim and her husband, Jay grew up in the south suburbs and met at Illinois State University. They have 2 boys heavily involved in sports in the Lincolnway area. Kim is both diligent and committed to offering her community a fitness studio that promotes self-acceptance, personal growth and an environment where we can support one another. The studio quickly grew into a culture of empowerment, friendship, and healthly lifestyles amongst all the members and staff. Kim has an amazing group of instructors that are all local residents in the Lincolnway area. Kim and her team make you feel comfortable the moment you walk through the door and they represent barre3 inside and outside of the studio. If you are looking for a way to better yourself mentally and physically, meet a great group of people, and evolve with a community, barre3 New Lenox is your home!

barre3 New Lenox | Barre Classes on Lincoln Highway

Barre3 New Lenox is on East Lincoln Highway, the main street of this Will County town southwest of Chicago, lined with family-run spots like Gatto's Italian and the longtime favorite Country Charm. Just northwest, Hickory Creek winds through old oak woods at the Hickory Creek Preserve, where a paved path follows the water and connects to the Old Plank Road Trail that runs across town. Closer in, Sharon's Bay Park rings a quiet fishing pond a few minutes south. Stop by before a morning on the trail or a bite in town, or work barre3 into your week.

Our barre3 New Lenox studio offers three classes that complement each other across your week. Barre3 Signature blends strength, cardio, and mindfulness into one complete full-body workout, using the barre, core ball, and weights to build strength, increase flexibility, and sharpen balance. B3 Strength is the deeper muscle work—heavier weights and slow, deliberate movement that builds the kind of strength you feel in your everyday life. B3 Cardio brings the heat—a high-energy, full-body push that leaves you feeling accomplished and clear-headed, not wiped out. You'll leave feeling stronger and more capable than when you walked in. Every fitness level is welcome.
