Studio Owner

Jennifer Chow

Hi there! I'm Jen Chow, the proud owner of barre3 Downtown Indy, barre3 Carmel & barre3 Fishers. My journey began back in 2013 when I stepped into The Barre Code while attending grad school in Chicago. Instantly connecting with the supportive and motivating community, I decided to take a chance and audition to become an instructor. What started as a hobby, quickly became an obsession, and, eventually, a full time career. Fast forward to 2019, and I decided to turn my passion for barre into a reality by opening up two studios in Indy. Since then, we have been welcomed into the Barre3 family and opened a third studio! One of my greatest passions is using movement to support and uplift my community. I truly believe in the transformative power of fitness and strive to make it accessible to everyone. Beyond my studio life, you can find spending time with my husband, Evan, and our two dogs, Kip & Honey.

barre3 Indianapolis - Downtown | Barre Classes on the Cultural Trail

The Indianapolis Cultural Trail—an eight-mile landscaped path connecting downtown's districts on foot and by bike—runs right past the door of barre3 Indianapolis - Downtown on South College Avenue, on the near-east edge of downtown. Just south in Fletcher Place, Amberson Coffee anchors the corner, with Calvin Fletcher's and Amelia's bakery drawing a morning crowd on Virginia Avenue. Follow the trail southeast and it reaches Fountain Square, where the 1928 theater building still houses the duckpin bowling lanes the neighborhood is known for. Grab a class before a ride down the trail or coffee, or build barre3 into your week.

Our barre3 Indianapolis - Downtown studio offers three classes that complement each other across your week. Barre3 Signature blends strength, cardio, and mindfulness into one complete full-body workout, using the barre, core ball, and weights to build strength, increase flexibility, and sharpen balance. B3 Strength is the deeper muscle work—heavier weights and slow, deliberate movement that builds the kind of strength you feel in your everyday life. B3 Cardio brings the heat—a high-energy, full-body push that leaves you feeling accomplished and clear-headed, not wiped out. You'll leave feeling stronger and more capable than when you walked in. Every fitness level is welcome.
