What to Expect

No experience required. Our classes are designed to make everyone feel welcome and get a great workout. Wear yoga-like attire (socks are optional) and bring a water bottle. We supply all props needed. We encourage new clients to arrive 15 minutes early to get a tour and meet your instructor.

Play Lounge

It’s easy to fit exercise into your life when you can bring the kids. Minors under 18 years of age are welcome. If minors are on the premises while guardians are in class, you must purchase a play lounge package. Reservations are highly recommended. Please reserve under your name and not your child’s name.

Barre3 is functional training with a twist. Rooted in three fitness disciplines—ballet barre, pilates and yoga—barre3 workouts will have you feeling strong and balanced inside and out. We’re known for building lean muscles, a strong core, and long-term postural benefits.

Kristen Mcnicholas
Kristen Mcnicholas
Studio Owner

As a lifelong athlete who played Division I college soccer, Kristen has always prioritized healthy living. She first tried barre3 in Greenville, SC, and loved what it did for her body and overall wellbeing. She also loved being a part of the barre3 community and connecting with so many inspiring people. After having her twins in 2010, Kristen knew that when she went back to work, she wanted to do something that would give back to others. With barre3 Simpsonville, she is so excited to be able to pursue her passion—and working alongside her sister, Kyla, makes it even better! Kristen loves nothing more than spending time with her husband and three kids, going for a run on a nice Fall afternoon, and anything to do with interior decorating.

Studio Owner

After teaching yoga for more than 10 years, Kyla Sfiris tried barre3 and realized it was exactly what she was looking for. She became a barre3 Instructor in 2015 and immediately started to dream of owning her own studio. An athlete at heart and Division I college soccer player, Kyla loves the challenge that barre3 gives her while still giving her the energy to be a mom to her three kids. She loves the mindfulness of the practice and has never felt stronger and more balanced. With the incredible support of her husband, Jimmy, and their three children, Kyla is thrilled to make the dream of owning her own studio a reality! She and her sister, Kristen, cannot wait to share their love of barre3 with their community. When she’s not at the studio, you can find her at the beach with her family, cooking or practicing yoga.

Pre + Postnatal

Moms-to-be and new moms love barre3. If you’re pregnant or postpartum, consult with your doctor before taking barre3 classes. Please arrive early to class and check in with your instructor, who will provide alternative postures appropriate for pregnant or postpartum clients.
