Studio Owner

Kristen McNicholas

As a lifelong athlete who played Division I college soccer, Kristen has always prioritized healthy living. She first tried barre3 in Greenville, SC, and loved what it did for her body and overall wellbeing. She also loved being a part of the barre3 community and connecting with so many inspiring people. After having her twins in 2010, Kristen knew that when she went back to work, she wanted to do something that would give back to others. With barre3 Simpsonville, she is so excited to be able to pursue her passion—and working alongside her sister, Kyla, makes it even better! Kristen loves nothing more than spending time with her husband and three kids, going for a run on a nice Fall afternoon, and anything to do with interior decorating.

barre3 Five Forks | Barre Classes on Woodruff Road

barre3 Five Forks | Barre Classes on Woodruff Road

barre3 Five Forks sits on Woodruff Road, one of five roads that converge at the Five Forks crossroads for which the area is named, just east of the intersection and steps from the Five Forks branch library, in the commercial center of eastern Greenville County. Chestnut Coffee House is a short walk south on Scuffletown Road, another of the five. Maverick's Donut Company bakes its lemon ricotta doughnuts and blueberry fritters a short drive west on Batesville. Drop in before a doughnut down the road, or build barre3 into your week.

Our barre3 Five Forks studio offers three classes that complement each other across your week. Barre3 Signature blends strength, cardio, and mindfulness into one complete full-body workout, using the barre, core ball, and weights to build strength, increase flexibility, and sharpen balance. B3 Strength is the deeper muscle work—heavier weights and slow, deliberate movement that builds the kind of strength you feel in your everyday life. B3 Cardio brings the heat—a high-energy, full-body push that leaves you feeling accomplished and clear-headed, not wiped out. You'll leave feeling stronger and more capable than when you walked in. Every fitness level is welcome.
