What to Expect

No experience required. Our classes are designed to make everyone feel welcome and get a great workout. Wear yoga-like attire (socks are optional) and bring a water bottle. We supply all props needed. We encourage new clients to arrive 15 minutes early to get a tour and meet your instructor.

Play Lounge

It’s easy to fit exercise into your life when you can bring the kids. Minors under 18 years of age are welcome. If minors are on the premises while guardians are in class, you must purchase a play lounge package. Reservations are highly recommended. Please reserve under your name and not your child’s name.

Barre3 is functional training with a twist. Rooted in three fitness disciplines—ballet barre, pilates and yoga—barre3 workouts will have you feeling strong and balanced inside and out. We’re known for building lean muscles, a strong core, and long-term postural benefits.

Ilene Young is an athlete who loves adrenaline-pumping sports. In 2011, Ilene was recovering from mountain biking injuries when she discovered barre3 right around the corner from her home in Kirkland, WA. She craved a low-impact, results-driven workout that would help balance her body, and barre3 was exactly what she was looking for! Ilene became an instructor with barre3 Bellevue and a founding instructor with barre3 Kirkland in 2012. She loves how barre3 feels in her body and loves what it does for her mind, energy levels and overall well-being. Ilene continues to cross train by running daily and participating in outdoor activities with her husband, Eric, and their two children. Co-owning barre3 Coppell with her sister is a dream come true!

Jaime Rasmussen is a life-long athlete who grew up dancing, swimming, rowing, and distance running. She began her career on Wall Street in the financial industry for Bear Wagner Specialists with the NYSE. Jaime took her first barre3 class, from her sister Ilene, in November 2013. After one class, she immediately wanted to bring it to Coppell. Jaime's love and passion for fitness are fueled by her desire to lead a balanced life centered on whole-body health. The varied, challenging workout and kind, warm atmosphere fostered in the studio means everything to her. She is thrilled to co-own barre3 Coppell with her sister, be a mom to her four kids, and take class alongside her supportive husband, Mark.
