Play Lounge

What to Expect

No experience required. Our classes are designed to make everyone feel welcome and get a great workout. Wear yoga-like attire (socks are optional) and bring a water bottle. We supply all props needed. We encourage new clients to arrive 15 minutes early to get a tour and meet your instructor.

Play Lounge

It’s easy to fit exercise into your life when you can bring the kids. Minors under 18 years of age are welcome. If minors are on the premises while guardians are in class, you must purchase a play lounge package. Reservations are highly recommended. Please reserve under your name and not your child’s name.

Our science-backed approach helps clients build strength, restore balance, increase endurance and energy, decrease stress, and rediscover the joy of movement. The transformative power of our workout is more than physical—and it extends far beyond the studio. Barre3 isn’t just about the hour you spend strengthening and balancing your body; it’s also about the empowerment you carry with you into your life.

Tori Fox
Tori Fox
Studio Owner

Tori Fox opened barre3 Raleigh when, after a successful real estate career, she decided it was time for something more family-friendly. After years of attending all types of fitness classes, Tori began taking barre3 classes online and knew that she had to bring it to Raleigh. As a mother of two, efficiency is key. Tori loves barre3 because it’s functional and she has seen significant changes in her posture. The workouts have also alleviated her ten-year battle with back and knee pain. Outside of barre3 Tori likes to run, travel with her family, spend time outdoors, and be with friends. She and her husband, Casey, own four Mellow Mushroom restaurants and are parents to Anda and Gracie.

Kailey Godley
Kailey Godley
Studio Owner

Kailey learned about barre3 from a close friend when she needed it the most. After graduating college her career became her priority and exercise was an afterthought. Despite being hesitant to go to barre3 at first, she was so happy she did. Little did she know, she found a class that would change her life and empower her to do what was best for her body. She fell so in love with it that after a year of being a client, she joined the barre3 family as an instructor. She found so much joy in sharing her love of barre3 to the community but was ready for a bigger role within the barre3 family. Kailey followed her heart and opened barre3 Cary as co-owner with Tori by her side. Kailey and her husband Billy live with their sweet dog Frank and are very excited to expand barre3 to Cary!

Moms-to-be and new moms love barre3. If you’re pregnant or postpartum, consult with your doctor before taking barre3 classes. Please arrive early to class and check in with your instructor, who will provide alternative postures appropriate for pregnant or postpartum clients.
