Hi! I'm Lindsay. I found barre3 in 2014 in Washington, DC. I was invited to a class by a colleague as a way to decompress from our stressful job in higher education and found exactly what I was looking for; an inclusive, warm community, a call to honor my body, and an energizing workout. Soon after, I became an instructor, a studio manager, and the rest is history! It is a dream come true to create a safe space in Old Town to come as you are, to be supported by our amazing community and team, and to leave each class full of joy. I can't wait to meet you!

barre3 Alexandria - Old Town | Barre Classes on Duke Street

Barre3 Alexandria - Old Town sits on Duke Street, two blocks south of King and the run of independent shops and restaurants that fill it. The Torpedo Factory is a short walk east on the waterfront—three floors of working artist studios you can walk into, the largest collection open to the public in the country—with the Mount Vernon Trail running along the river out front. Misha's, Alexandria's original coffee roaster, has been in business a few blocks north since 1991. Stop by after browsing the studios, or make barre3 part of your routine.

Our barre3 Alexandria - Old Town studio offers three classes that complement each other across your week. Barre3 Signature blends strength, cardio, and mindfulness into one complete full-body workout, using the barre, core ball, and weights to build strength, increase flexibility, and sharpen balance. B3 Strength is the deeper muscle work—heavier weights and slow, deliberate movement that builds the kind of strength you feel in your everyday life. B3 Cardio brings the heat—a high-energy, full-body push that leaves you feeling accomplished and clear-headed, not wiped out. You'll leave feeling stronger and more capable than when you walked in. Every fitness level is welcome.
