Amy Leclerc
Studio Owner

Amy Leclerc discovered barre3 in 2008, right after Sadie and Chris Lincoln opened the flagship studio in Portland. As a runner, exercise had always been a part of her DNA, but barre3 quickly became her happy place. She became an instructor a year later, and currently oversees sales, marketing and business development for barre3. Amy opened barre3 West Village in partnership with the Lincolns in 2014 and is so proud to be sharing barre3 with such an incredible community. Having spent her twenties in NYC, she was extremely motivated to bring barre3 to a city that could benefit so deeply from what barre3 has to offer. For Amy, the most gratifying aspect of being a studio owner has been the ability to cultivate a team of like-minded people who have a barre3 sensibility and watch them blossom. A master of the overnight cross-country trip, Amy lives in Portland with her husband, Hervé, and two children, Blaise and Ludivine.

Pre + Postnatal

Moms-to-be and new moms love barre3. If you’re pregnant or postpartum, consult with your doctor before taking barre3 classes. Please arrive early to class and check in with your instructor, who will provide alternative postures appropriate for pregnant or postpartum clients.
