What to Expect

No experience required. Our classes are designed to make everyone feel welcome and get a great workout. Wear yoga-like attire (socks are optional) and bring a water bottle. We supply all props needed. We encourage new clients to arrive 15 minutes early to get a tour and meet your instructor.

Signing Up

We use MINDBODY as our scheduling tool, so you’ll first need to create a MINDBODY account. After you’ve created your account and purchased some class credits, all you need to do is sign up for the class you’d like to attend on MINDBODY’s website or mobile app.

Benefits

Barre3 is functional training with a twist. Rooted in three fitness disciplines—ballet barre, pilates and yoga—barre3 workouts will have you feeling strong and balanced inside and out. We’re known for building lean muscles, a strong core, and long-term postural benefits.

Pace McCamy
Studio Owner

Pace McCamy joined the barre3 family as a studio owner in 2011. Born and raised in Knoxville, introducing her hometown to the barre3 philosophy was very important to her. Shortly after opening the Knoxville studios, Pace joined with Holly Coltea to bring barre3 to Nashville. She now owns four studios across the state. Pace continues to be an active community volunteer, primarily focusing on The Imagination Library and TN Arthritis Foundation. Having Rheumatoid Arthritis herself, Pace finds great relief through the barre3 technique – finally, an exercise that feels good in her body! Today, Pace and her husband Jeff work side-by-side on the growth of their four studios and their four boys.

Pre + Postnatal

Moms-to-be and new moms love barre3. If you’re pregnant or postpartum, consult with your doctor before taking barre3 classes. Please arrive early to class and check in with your instructor, who will provide alternative postures appropriate for pregnant or postpartum clients.

Childcare

It’s easy to fit exercise into your life when you can bring the kids. Minors under 18 years of age are welcome. If minors are on the premises while guardians are in class, you must purchase a childcare package. Reservations are highly recommended. Please reserve under your name and not your child’s name.

Young Clients

Minors aged 14 and up are welcome to attend class with their parent or guardian. Clients 14-15 years of age will require a parent or guardian to accompany them during class. Clients 16-17 years of age will require a New Client Waiver to be signed by their parent or guardian.

Cancellation Policy & Other Fine Print

You can cancel a reservation up to an hour before class. Late cancellations or no-shows incur a $15 charge to accounts with an unlimited monthly membership or the reduction of one class from a class package.
