Our studio is located on the corner of Kirkland Avenue and State Street across from The Heathman Hotel. There is street parking available as well as parking in the garage of the Kirkland library.

Services + Amenities

Barre3 Seattle - Kirkland is a beautifully appointed space in the heart of downtown. We offer changing rooms that are equipped with toiletries. For your class needs, we provide towel service and purified water.




What to Expect

No experience required. Our classes are designed to make everyone feel welcome and get a great workout. Wear yoga-like attire (socks are optional) and bring a water bottle. We supply all props needed. We encourage new clients to arrive 15 minutes early to get a tour and meet your instructor.

Signing Up

We use MINDBODY as our scheduling tool, so you’ll first need to create a MINDBODY account. After you’ve created your account and purchased some class credits, all you need to do is sign up for the class you’d like to attend on MINDBODY’s website or mobile app.


Barre3 is functional training with a twist. Rooted in three fitness disciplines—ballet barre, pilates and yoga—barre3 workouts will have you feeling strong and balanced inside and out. We’re known for building lean muscles, a strong core, and long-term postural benefits.

Hannah Grubaugh
Studio Owner

Seattle – Kirkland studio co-owner Hannah Grubaugh has always loved fitness. She found barre3 through barre3 Bellevue in 2010 and loved the workout and community. After taking many classes, she became an instructor herself and realized that she wanted to bring barre3 to the Kirkland neighborhood. Hannah loves the balance that barre3 has brought to her life and now thoroughly enjoys sharing it with her friends and neighbors.

Anna McEvers
Studio Owner

Anna McEvers has owned barre3 studios in the Seattle area for the past six years. She received her original training in Portland from Sadie Lincoln, founder of barre3. Prior to launching her career in fitness, she worked alongside her husband to grow the Redmond-based consulting company, Capstone Solutions Inc. while raising her two children. She also worked as an educator and has a master’s degree in education. Anna developed her love for fitness by being involved in competitive dance in her youth as well as being a state ranked tennis player. She loves barre3 because it gives her the energy, strength, and flexibility to feel strong and balanced while juggling her busy home and work life.

Heather Kass
Studio Owner

Heather Kass grew up in Austin, Texas as a competitive swimmer. She found barre3 in 2009 and it was love at first sight. She was determined to bring barre3 to the Seattle area. Prior to launching her career in fitness, Heather owned a boutique PR firm. Heather received her bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University in public relations. You will see her in one of her three locally owned studios either working at the front desk, getting her baby-fix while providing childcare, or teaching her clients how to go deeper into their barre3 practice. Barre3 has brought a deep sense of community, health, and balance to Heather’s life.

Pre + Postnatal

Moms-to-be and new moms love barre3. If you’re pregnant or postpartum, consult with your doctor before taking barre3 classes. Please arrive early to class and check in with your instructor, who will provide alternative postures appropriate for pregnant or postpartum clients.


It’s easy to fit exercise into your life when you can bring the kids. Minors under 18 years of age are welcome. If minors are on the premises while guardians are in class, you must purchase a childcare package. Reservations are highly recommended. Please reserve under your name and not your child’s name.

Young Clients

Minors aged 14 and up are welcome to attend class with their parent or guardian. Clients 14-15 years of age will require a parent or guardian to accompany them during class. Clients 16-17 years of age will require a New Client Waiver to be signed by their parent or guardian.

Cancellation Policy & Other Fine Print

You can cancel a reservation up to an hour before class. Late cancellations or no-shows incur a $15 charge to accounts with an unlimited monthly membership or the reduction of one class from a class package.
