Courtney Gerlach is a Columbus, Ohio native and a longtime movement enthusiast. After several years working behind a desk, she decided to get back to her dance and yoga roots and regain balance in her life with barre3. She opened her first of two barre3 studios in 2012. If you don't see Courtney in the studio, she can likely be found walking her dogs, Bella and Monte, enjoying the Columbus restaurant scene with her husband Stan, or traveling to locations both near and far.

Whitney Carpenter discovered barre3 through her close friend Courtney, and she was hooked by the end of her first workout. After experiencing firsthand how barre3 balanced both her body and mind, she joined Courtney as the co-owner of barre3 Upper Arlington and barre3 Powell in Central Ohio. Working alongside her incredible team in Columbus has quickly become Whitney’s dream job. When she’s not at the studios, she’s out enjoying the Columbus music scene and exploring the great outdoors at the local parks.
