Position Overview: We are looking for an analytical, inquisitive, and collaborative candidate, who has a passion for analyzing Studio performance and strategically driving business results.  The Business Analyst will be an integral part our Studio team by developing quality dashboard reporting and strategic analysis for barre3’s Studio business.  The candidate will play a key role in cross-functional data analyses and communication, while gaining operational knowledge of a leading boutique fitness brand.

We are looking for a methodical Analyst to survey customer preferences and statistical data. The successful candidate will be able to analyze autonomously qualitative data, trends, strategies and competition aiming at increasing competitiveness, and consumer experience.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze barre3’s owned studio and franchised studio performance by evaluating membership, pricing strategies, market trends and client insights.

  • Develop analyses and strategic business cases for studio leadership and cross-functional business parters on areas including:

    • Region, District and Studio performance

    • Client Experience

    • Pricing 

    • Class Experience Pilots

    • Attendance

    • Retention

    • Revenue per member

    • Revenue per session

  • Build ROI proposals for select initiatives driven by the Experience team; Track performance post implementation and present results to senior leadership and key business partners

  • Manage ad-hoc analysis, presentations, and special projects as needed

  • Conduct Studio calls and visits to collect qualitative feedback on business and operational performance, highlighting market specific nuances
  • Responsible for leveraging multiple data points for benchmarking, assessing and recognizing key activities and trends that are impacting the studio business and transforming them into critical market insights

  • Delivers strategic and consultative recommendations to help guide and pattern the studio experience

  • Collect data on consumers, competitors and market place and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations
  • Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective consumer’s preferences

  • Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties researches and implement best practices


Required Qualifications:

  • B.A./B.S Undergraduate degree in Business or related field (Economics, Statistics, etc.)

  • 2-3 years experience in an analytic role

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint/Keynote, with a proven ability to build models involving multiple variables and the ability to work with business partners to clarify assumptions

  • Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy

  • Passion for health and wellness or the curiosity to learn

  • Strong verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects

  • Ability to travel occasionally to studios and conferences
